About LAPINcontemporary

Seeing Landscape - a multi-media group show - Oct 5 - Dec 28, 2024
LAPINcontemporary is an emerging gallery dedicated to showcasing contemporary art, providing a platform to promote artists while offering a vibrant cultural destination for the community and visitors exploring the Berkshires.
It was founded in April of 2024, by Cristina Barbedo. The gallery has exhibited contemporary works of art, together with events to substantiate the thematic of a show; with focus on providing a platform for professional emerging and established artists, and on developing an expanding relationship with artists and collectors.

LAPINcontemporary is yet to build a legacy, but Cristina’s love for the arts and the passion to inspire has become the important factors for the growth of her gallery. She believes that collaborating with the artists is the driving force to express her vision and to exude creativity, therefore creating a stimulating venue for the artist and the viewer.
Located in the historic Norad Mill in North Adams, Massachusetts, the gallery sits at a pivotal cultural intersection, just 1.9 miles from MASS MoCA and 4.9 miles from The Clark Art Institute. This prime location offers visitors and collectors an additional space to experience contemporary art while traveling between two of the region’s most esteemed museums.
